Henry had a lifelong passion for woodworking and DIY projects. He quickly realized there was a need in the market for affordable but precise power saws that both professionals and hobbyists could rely on. So in 1979, he began designing and manufacturing his own saws with three goals in mind:

Armed with a few initial power tool designs, Henry started selling his saws at local hardware shops and trade shows. Word quickly spread among carpenters, construction crews, DIYers, and hobbyist woodworkers about the quality and reliability of Admiral® saws.
We began adding more saw types and accessories to our catalog, including miter saws, table saws, circular saws, jigsaws, reciprocating saws, scroll saws, band saws, chop saws, and more. Customers loved the Admiral® commitment to continuous innovation and affordability.
Growth and Expansion
By the mid 1980s, Admiral® Saws had grown to over 50 employees and expanded distribution across the United States. We opened our first manufacturing facility, allowing us to produce saws at even higher quality and lower costs.
The early 1990s brought a huge spike in DIY interest, especially in woodworking. To meet growing demand, we opened a second US-based factory and began selling Admiral® saws at major home improvement retailers nationwide. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Admiral® cemented itself as one of the most trusted brands among trade professionals and home DIYers alike.
Today, Admiral® Saws operates two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the US, along with sales offices worldwide. Over 200 employees work continuously to build upon Henry Admiral’s vision of delivering powerful, precise, affordable saws to woodworkers everywhere.
